今回、ご紹介する品物は、萩焼の作家、大和保男のぐい吞です。

大和保男は、１９３３年に山口県で生まれ、父は大和春信（春信松緑窯）で、父から萩焼の指導を受け中学生の頃には、一人前の職人になり、若くして蹴りロクロを修練しました。ピカソに傾倒し、現代美術にも影響を受けながら、伝統工芸の技を習得しました。日本のみならず世界でも活躍し、スペイン、アメリカ、イギリスなどに、作品を収蔵しまた。１９８８年には、山口県指定無形文化財萩焼保持者に認定されました。

大和保男の作品は、様々な技術と感性で、斬新なものから、伝統的なものまで、自由な作風が特徴です。こちらのぐい吞みは見る角度によって景色が変わり味わいのあるぐい吞です。

The item introduced here is a sake cup made by Hagi ware artist Yasuo Yamato.

Yamato Yasuo was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1933. His father was Harunobu Yamato (Harunobu Shoroku Kiln), who taught him Hagi ware and he became a full-fledged craftsman by the time he was in junior high school. He became devoted to Picasso and was influenced by contemporary art, while mastering the traditional craftsmanship. In 1988, Yamato was designated as an Intangible Cultural Asset of Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Yasuo Yamato’s works are characterized by a free style that ranges from the innovative to the traditional, using a variety of techniques and sensibilities. The scenery of this gusubinami changes depending on the angle you look at it, giving the gusubinami a tasteful appearance.

ハンガリー生まれのフィレンツェ・ホルダスは、医学大学へ進学と同時に画家としてデビューしました。

こちらの作品は、黒い帽子を被った少女の絵で、少女の肌は陶器のような美しさを表現しているのでしょうか、フラットな表面で光沢のある質感の絵です。

お花とお城の絵は、スクラッチのような技法で小さく描かれ、画面の中に遠近感をもたらしています。

縦約７８㎝×横約６７㎝のアンティーク調の額に入っており、玄関やリビングに飾ると優しい雰囲気が演出できそうです。

1940年 画集（グーテンベルク出版）を出版。

1965年 フィレンツェ・アカデミー名誉会員に推挙

慈光ヤフーショッピング　東山魁夷　秋彩（新復刻画）　リトグラフ

慈光では、絵画の販売、お買い取りを行っております。

今回、ご紹介する品物は、東山魁夷の新復刻画です。新復刻画と、著作者である東山魁夷の夫人（東山すみ）の監修より、限定制作されたリトグラフです。平成１４年に限定３５０部を発行したもののひとつです。

東山魁夷は、戦後の日本画家を代表する画家です。東京美術学校（現東京藝術大学）の日本画科を卒業後、第１回日独交換留学生として、）２年間の留学費用をドイツ政府から支給されることになり、１９３３年ベルリン大学文学部美術史科に入学しました。惜しくも、父危篤の報を受け奨学金支給期間を１年残したまま日本に帰国しましたが、画家人生に影響を与えたに違いない。戦後になると、北欧、オーストリア、中国など海外に取材に足を運び精力的に作品を創作しました。国内外問わず、平明ながら深い精神性を備え、幅広い支持を集めました。

『秋彩』と題したこちらの作品は、赤、黄、青が鮮やかに映り、非常に奥行きがあります。東山魁夷の独特の世界観を感じられます。

The item introduced here is a new reprint of Kaii Higashiyama’s painting. This lithograph was produced in a limited edition under the supervision of Kaii Higashiyama’s wife (Sumi Higashiyama), who is the author of the work. This is one of the limited edition of 350 copies issued in 2002.

Kaii Higashiyama is one of the leading postwar Japanese painters. After graduating from the Japanese Painting Department of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (now Tokyo University of the Arts), he entered the Department of Art History, Faculty of Letters, University of Berlin in 1933, after being granted a two-year scholarship by the German government (as the first Japanese-German exchange student). Regrettably, he returned to Japan with one year remaining on the scholarship upon receiving news of his father’s critical illness, but it must have had an impact on his life as a painter. After the war, he traveled abroad to Scandinavia, Austria, China, and other countries for research and energetically created works. His plain, yet deeply spiritual works, both in Japan and abroad, attracted a wide range of support.

This work, titled “Autumn Colors,” shows vivid reds, yellows, and blues, and has great depth. It gives us a sense of Kaii Higashiyama’s unique worldview.

1950年（昭和25年）42歳第6回日展に「道」を出品　風景画家として不動の地位を確立

1956年（昭和31年）48歳日展出品作品「光昏」が第12回芸術院賞を受賞、政府買上げとなる

1960年（昭和35年）52歳東宮御所大広間の壁画「日月四季図」を完成

1965年（昭和40年）57歳日本芸術院会員に任命される　日展理事に就任

1968年（昭和43年）60歳皇居新宮殿大壁画「朝明けの潮」を完成

1969年（昭和44年）61歳第10回毎日芸術大賞を受賞
文化勲章を受章し、文化功労者に選ばれる

1975年（昭和50年）67歳奈良唐招提寺の壁画第1期として、「山雲」「濤声」を完成

1976年（昭和51年）68歳ドイツ連邦共和国大統領から功労大十字勲章を贈られる

1980年（昭和55年）72歳唐招提寺壁画第2期「黄山暁雲」「揚州薫風」「桂林月宵」を完成奉納

1984年（昭和59年）76歳日展顧問に就任

1985年（昭和60年）77歳西ドイツの学術・学芸の最高のプール・ル・メリット勲章受賞

1988年（昭和63年）80歳居住地の千葉県市川市の名誉市民に選ばれる

1990年（平成02年）82歳長野県信濃美術館に東山魁夷館が開館

1995年（平成07年）87歳8月 長野県山口村（現・岐阜県中津川市）に「東山魁夷心の旅路館」が開館　1999年（平成11年）5月6日 逝去 享年90歳　従三位勲一等瑞宝章を贈られる

薩摩焼・磯御庭窯の香合を買い取りさせて頂きました。

薩摩焼・磯御庭窯の始まりは、薩摩藩主斉彬公が磯邸内に磯御庭窯を築かせました。

斉彬公が亡くなり窯は廃絶しましたが明治28年に忠義公が磯邸内に仙巌窯「一般に御庭焼研究所と言われていました。」として新たに再興しました。

その後、災害などで廃窯になったりなどの紆余曲折を経て現在の磯御庭窯となっていきます。

この香合も、美しい絵付け・ひび釉など特有の薩摩焼の美しさを形成しています。

The Iso-oniwa kiln of Satsuma ware started when Nariakira, lord of the Satsuma domain, had the Iso-oniwa kiln built in his residence in Iso.

After Nariakira died, the kiln was closed down, but in 1895, Tadayoshi rebuilt the kiln as the Sengan Kiln, “commonly known as the Oniwa Pottery Research Institute,” in the Iso Residence. The kiln was later closed due to disasters and other reasons.

After that, the kiln was closed due to disasters and other twists and turns, and it became the current Iso Oniwa Kiln.

This incense container also has a unique beauty of Satsuma-ware, such as beautiful painting and cracked glaze.

刀緒とは軍刀の柄頭に提げられた紐のことです。

元々は戦闘の際、手首を通し脱落防止用の紐として使われていました。

実際には、刀緒の色や素材、形状の違いによって、階級や所属などを示す飾りの要素が大きかったようです。

また、金モールで作られた正装、礼装時に用いられる正刀緒で儀礼刀などに付けれられる物もあります。

陸軍軍刀の場合は、絹糸平織状の茶色を基調とした紐で、階級により裏地が紺青色は尉官・准士官。緋色は佐官。緋色に金糸模様入りは将官。

さらに将官は房が金色で、一目で階級が分かるようになっています。

こちらの帝国陸軍佐官の正刀緒など数点をヤフオクにて出品予定です。どうぞお楽しみに。

A sword cord is a strap attached to the hilt of a military sword.

Originally, it was used as a cord to pass around the wrist during battle to prevent it from falling off.

In practice, the sword cord seems to have had a large decorative element to indicate rank and affiliation, depending on its colour, material and shape.

There are also ceremonial sword cords made of gold braid used for formal and ceremonial dress, which are attached to ceremonial swords.

For army swords, the strings were made of plain-weave silk and were brown in colour, with a dark blue lining for lieutenants and adjutants, and a scarlet lining for sergeants. Scarlet is for sergeants. Scarlet with a gold thread pattern is for generals.

Furthermore, generals have a golden tassel, which identifies their rank at a glance.
