今回、ご紹介する品物は、上村淳之 のリトグラフ、『瑠璃鳥』と題したリトグラフです。

上村淳之 は、花鳥画を得意としており、当店では、何度も取り扱っております。鳥の愛好家としてもしられており、自然の中にいる鳥を始めとした生き物を描き、季節を感じる色彩や、ゆとりのある構図など安堵感のある作品が特徴的です。

また、上村松園、松篁に継ぐ、日本画を代表する一家に生まれ、京都市立美術大学を卒業し数々の賞を受賞しております。

こちらの瑠璃鳥は、おながの部分が黄色いことからルリビタギという種類かもしれません。夏季はユーラシア大陸の亜寒帯やヒマラヤ山脈で繁殖し、冬季はユーラシア大陸南部で越冬し。日本では、夏季に本州中部以北、四国で繁殖し、冬季になると本州中部以南で越冬します。また幸せの青い鳥と言われ非常に人気があります。

We are pleased to present a lithograph by Atsushi Uemura titled “Ruritori”.

Uemura specializes in flower-and-bird paintings, which we have handled many times. He is also known as a bird lover, and his paintings of birds and other creatures in nature are characterized by their seasonal colors and spacious compositions that give a sense of relief.

He is a graduate of Kyoto City University of Arts, and has received numerous awards.

The Ruritori bird shown here may be a species called Ruribitagi because of the yellowish color of its long neck. It breeds in the subarctic and Himalayan mountains of Eurasia during the summer and overwinters in southern Eurasia during the winter. In Japan, it breeds north of central Honshu and Shikoku in the summer and winters south of central Honshu in the winter. They are also known as the “blue bird of happiness” and are very popular.

今回ご紹介の品物は、ロイヤルドルトンのフラワーベースです。

1815年にロンドンで創業したロイヤルドルトンは、当時、炻器（ストーンウエア）をつくる小さな企業でした。

ストーンウエアとは、陶磁器の一種で、半磁器と言われ、陶器と磁器の中間的な性質を持つ焼物です。

通常は施釉せず、また絵付けも行われませんが、こちらのフラワーベースは、表面にツヤがあり、ドイツ発祥といわれる【塩釉ーソルトグレイズ】が使われているようです。

小さなお花と葉っぱが浮き彫りに装飾されており、とても可愛らしいデザインです。小ぶりなベースですが、20㎝ほどの高さで、底が直径14㎝で、ずっしりと重めで、安定感がありますので、花が活けやすそうです。

現代のロイヤルドルトンは、スタイリッシュなテーブルウエアを見かけることが多いですが、こちらのストーンウエアは素朴な温かみがあり、アンティークな雰囲気があります。慈光店舗にて販売中です。

The item presented here is a Royal Doulton flower vase.

Founded in London in 1815, Royal Doulton was then a small company producing stoneware.

Stoneware is a type of ceramic ware, also known as semi-porcelain, which is a type of ware with properties halfway between pottery and porcelain.

It is usually not glazed or painted, but this flower vase has a shiny surface and seems to have been made with a salt glaze, which is said to have originated in Germany.

It is decorated with small flowers and leaves in relief and has a very pretty design. It is a small vase, but it is about 20 cm high, with a bottom diameter of 14 cm,

and is very heavy and stable, so it would be easy to arrange flowers. Modern Royal Doulton tableware is often seen as stylish,

but this stoneware has a rustic warmth and antique feel. Available in Jikoh shop.

慈光では、彫刻のお買い取り、販売を行っております。

現在、ショールームにて、長谷川塊記の子供をモチーフにしたブロンズ像を販売、展示しております。

は、1898年（明治31年）生まれ、1973年（昭和48年）に死去しました。大正から昭和にかけて活躍しました。『東洋のロダン』と呼ばれた朝倉文夫に師事したことでも知られています。肖像彫刻を得意とし、穏健で明快な表現が特徴です。

こちらのブロンズ像は、下の台合わせて、高さが73cm 子供自体で68cmで、1歳～2歳児ぐらいでしょうか、ちょうどはハイハイがら、立ち始めた頃でしょうか。両手を広げ喜びに満ち溢れた表情をしております。体付きはふっくらと足は堂々として非常に健康的です。愛着の沸く作品ですね。

慈光ヤフーショッピング　東郷青児「城」　東郷たまみ監修　サイン　129/500　リトグラフ　

慈光では、絵画の販売、お買い取りを行っております。

今回ご紹介する品物は、東郷青児の『城』と題したリトグラフです。

東郷青児は、明治30年(1897)に鹿児島市の旧島津藩士の家に生まれました。幼少時代に上京し、中学時代から絵画の勉強をはじめ、中学4年ころから、竹久夢二展をみて感激し夢二宅にも出入りしました。大正10年から昭和３年まで、パリにて美術学校で学び、この頃の作品はピカソの影響が見られます。その後フランスの百貨店の装飾美術のデザイナーとして働きます。その後、二科会を始め、様々な展示会などで活躍し、日本を代表する作家になりました。日本では、勲二等旭日重光章受章。フランスでは、芸術文化勲章オフィシエを授与するなど、国内外で評価されました。

画風は、夢見るような甘い女性像が人気を博し、本や雑誌、包装紙などに多数使われ、昭和の美人画家として戦後一世を風靡しました。

The item presented here is a lithograph titled “Castle” by Seiji Togo.

Seiji Togo was born in Kagoshima City in 1897 (Meiji 30) to a family of former Shimazu clan members. He moved to Tokyo as a child and began studying painting at junior high school. From 1921 to 1928, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, where his works were influenced by Picasso. He then worked as a decorative art designer for a French department store. Later, he was active in various exhibitions, including the Nika-kai, and became a representative artist in Japan. In Japan, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette. In France, he was awarded the Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

His style of painting, with its dreamy, sweet female images, gained popularity and was used in many books, magazines, wrapping paper, etc., and he dominated the postwar era as a Showa-era beauty painter.

日本陶器（現ノリタケカンパニーリミテド）の技師長だった飛鳥井孝太郎は、名古屋の陶磁器貿易商だった寺沢留四郎と共に、明治44年(1911年)に設立したのが名古屋製陶所の前身、帝国製陶所でした。当時、帝国製陶所はノリタケのライバルとなるほど成長しました。しかし、台風の被害で経営困難となり、名古屋財閥の助けを借りて、合資会社・名古屋製陶所となりました。その後、鳴海にトンネル窯の工場を新設したものの、大戦の影響を受け、昭和18年(1943年)住友工業へ鳴海工場を売却します。この工場は、戦後、鳴海製陶所となり、ノリタケ カンパニーリミテドに次いで国内では第2位の洋食器メーカーに成長しました。鳴海工場を手放した名古屋製陶所は、戦後輸出向けの製品を作っていましたが昭和44年に解散、60年の歴史に幕を閉じました。オールド名陶とは、名古屋製陶所と名古屋製陶の両社において敗戦までの間に製造された硬質磁器製品を指します。こちらカップは、裏印から名古屋製陶所時代の製品と思われます。金彩に淡い色の手彩色を施した、品のいいデザインです。

Asukai Kotaro, the chief engineer of Nippon Toki (now Noritake Company Limited), established Teikoku Seitousyo , the predecessor of Nagoya Seitousyo , in 1911 (Meiji 44) together with Terasawa Tomeshiro, a Nagoya-based ceramics trader. At the time, Teikoku  Seitousyo had grown so much that it became a rival to Noritake. However, typhoon damage made it difficult to manage, and with the help of the Nagoya Zaibatsu, it became a joint-stock company, Nagoya Seitousyo. Later, a new tunnel kiln factory was built in Narumi, but due to the effects of the war, the Narumi factory was sold to Sumitomo Industry in 1943 (Showa 18). This factory became Narumi Pottery after the war and grew to become the second largest manufacturer of western tableware in Japan after Noritake Company Limited. After giving up the Narumi factory, Nagoya Seitousyo  made products for export after the war, but was dissolved in 1969, ending its 60-year history. Old Meito refers to hard porcelain products manufactured by both Nagoya Seito and Nagoya Seitousyo until the end of the war. This cup is thought to be from the Nagoya Seitousyo  period, based on the reverse seal. It has a classy design with gilt and light-coloured hand-colouring.
