アンティーク慈光ヤフーショッピング　CL.J.R.COLINET（クレアジーン・ロバーツ・コリネット）「juggler」1925年　ブロンズ像

慈光では、彫刻の販売、お買い取りを行っております。今回ご紹介する品物は、クレアジーン・ロバーツ・コリネットです。

コリネットは、女性の彫刻家で、1880年にベルギーのブリュッセルに生まれました。1910年前後にフランスのパリに移住し、ジェフランボーの監視下で彫刻を学び、芸術家としての生活が始まりました。1913年にサロンアーティスツフランセに初めて出展し、以後、パリのサロン・デ・アンデパンダンなどに出展しました。コリネットの作品は、アールデコ様式を基調とし、モデルはダンサー、ジャグラー、キャバレーのアーティストなど、動きのある人物を表現しました。コリネットは、19世後半にヨーロッパで流行したオリエンタリズムにも影響を受けており、象牙や金などで作られた彫刻クリセレファンティンの技法が多く見られます。

コリネットの作品は、クリスティーズなどのアートオークションで高額の値を付けるなど、後世にも評価を受けております。

こちらのjugglerと題した作品は、伸び伸びとした作りであり、アールヌーボー独特な良さがあります。表情も非常に良いです。

Colinet, a female sculptor, was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1880, and moved to Paris, France, around 1910, where she studied sculpture under the supervision of Géré Flambeau and began her life as an artist. she first exhibited at the Salon Artists Français in 1913, and has since exhibited at the He exhibited at the Salon des Independents and elsewhere. Collinet’s work was based on the Art Deco style, and his models were dancers, jugglers, cabaret artists, and other figures in motion. Colinette was also influenced by Orientalism, which was popular in Europe in the late 19th century, and often used the technique of chryselephantine sculpture made of ivory, gold, and other materials.

Colinette’s works have been appreciated by posterity, fetching high prices at Christie’s and other art auctions.

This piece titled “juggler” is a stretchy creation and has a unique Art Nouveau quality. The expression is also very good.
