十四代 坂倉新兵衛　萩　茶碗 茶道具　共箱　y-390

坂倉新兵衛の祖は、李氏朝鮮時代の陶工、李勺光、李敬の兄弟が萩城下で御用窯を築いた。

兄の李勺光を初代とする名跡が坂倉新兵衛である。六代目より「坂倉」と改姓しました。

14代は、山口県指定無形文化財萩焼保持者で、萩焼技法の古式を継承する第一人者です。

1975年に逝去されましたが、現在でも茶碗・水指・茶入などに秀作を残 し多くの茶人に好まれています。

The name Shinbei Sakakura  was given to the first generation by the elder brother, Yi Chikwang. The family name was changed to “Sakakura” from the sixth generation.

The 14th generation is the holder of the Yamaguchi Prefecture-designated intangible cultural property Hagiyaki, and is the leading inheritor of the ancient style of Hagiyaki techniques.

Although he passed away in 1975, he still left behind excellent works of tea bowls, water jars, and tea containers, which are favored by many tea masters.
