Yousai glass is a fine glassware with elegant design baked on it with glazes of various colors including pure gold, silver, and platinum, and is an art form that is called cloisonne of glass.
In the 15th century, it became popular as a decoration for royalty and nobility, and was studied and spread in France.

In Japan, it was revived in the modern age through the research of Amamiya Kinoto.
Amamiya is the only person in Japan who handles this technique. It is highly regarded both in Japan and abroad as noble and elegant. The flower arabesque glass vase by Mr. Amemiya is sold at Jikoh’s store.
Jikoh’s vases are now on sale in our stores. We have introduced Mr. Amemiya’s vases on our blog several times, and this one is about 22 cm tall, with a delicate floral arabesque design and the transparency of the glass is well utilized.
