高野清鳳（黄檗陶司）作、茶注を 慈光店頭にて販売しております。Tea pouring bowls by Seiou Takano (Ohbakutoushi) is available for sale in the Jikoh shop.
今回ご紹介の品物は、瑠璃色に金彩が施された茶注です。
作者の高野清鳳は、1909年（明治四十二年） 京都に生まれました。
京焼陶匠、無想盧如阿弥師のもとで茶陶修業 し、1947年（昭和二十二年） 初代清鳳として茶陶窯を開窯しました。
こちらの茶注は、至上の色として大切にされてきた瑠璃色（るりいろ）の地に、金彩を施しています。
絵柄は、 生命力の強い蔓植物の蔓が四方八方に広がる様子が模様になっており、ヨーロッパでは芸術作品や建築などで用いられ、日本でも嫁入り道具を包む風呂敷
の柄として使用されていたそうです。瑠璃色と金彩のバランスが美しく、芸術性の高い茶注となっています。

The item presented here is a tea pouring bowl in lapis lazuli with gold decoration.
The artist, Takano Seiou, was born in Kyoto in 1909.
He trained in tea ceremony under the master of Kyoyaki potter Mushoro Nyoami, and opened his own tea kiln as the first Seiou in 1947.
This tea pouring bowl is decorated with gold on a ground of lapis lazuli (lapis lazuli), which has been cherished as the supreme colour of the tea ceremony.
The design is based on a pattern of a vigorous vine spreading in all directions, which is used in Europe for works of art and architecture.
In Europe, it was used in artworks and architecture, and in Japan it was used as a pattern for furoshiki wrapping wedding gifts.
The balance of lapis lazuli and gold is beautifully balanced, making this a highly artistic tea pouring vessel.
