天保時代に多く作られた有田焼で、当時、お伊勢参りの流行した時代に作られた品物です。博物館に飾られたりと美術品としてより、歴史的価値の方が高いようです。

当時の都、平安城が中心に描かれています。女護國や小人國など、想像上の国名も書いてあって陶工の遊び心が見えます。
