十三代亀井味楽 　高取茶碗　十四代識箱茶碗　共箱

今回、ご紹介する品物は、十三代　亀井味楽の茶碗です。

亀井味楽は、遠州七窯のひとつ高取焼のひとつであり、代々名工を輩出しています。11代高取久助寿泉の長男として生まれました。明治30年から父について修業し、本家の家督を相続した弟の死で高取焼13代を継承しま活躍しました。表千家の茶人岩井宗麟の忠告で茶陶に専念、号を味楽とした。昭和19年農商務省の技術保持者に認定されます。「亀井」と改姓し、亀井味楽窯の当主として活躍し、茶陶の造詣も深いことでも知られています。

こちらの茶碗は、十四代味楽が識箱で認定しています。青みのある釉薬により表現されており瑞々しさを感じさせる造りとなっております。造形や、素地、質感もすばらしく、亀井味楽の特徴である作為を感じさせない自然的で優美な特徴があります。

Kamei Ajiraku was born as the eldest son of the 11th generation Takatori Hisasuke Jusen. He started his apprenticeship with his father in 1897, and succeeded to the 13th generation of Takatori Pottery after the death of his younger brother, who had inherited the head of the family. On the advice of Sorin Iwai, a tea master of the Omotesenke school, he devoted himself to tea ceremony pottery and changed his name to Ajiraku. In 1944, he was certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce as a holder of technical skills. He changed his family name to “Kamei” and became the head of Kamei Ajiraku Kiln, and is known for his deep knowledge of tea ceramics.

This tea bowl is certified by Ajiraku XIV with a Shikibako. The bluish glaze gives this bowl a fresh feeling. The shape, the base, and the texture are also wonderful, and it has a natural and graceful feature without feeling artificial, which is the characteristic of Kamei Ajiraku.
