こちらは加藤利昇作、菊芝垣の絵の茶碗です。黒釉により、金で縁どられた菊の花が、鮮やかに浮かび上がった美しい作品です。

- 昭和60年 京都伝統美術功労賞受賞
- 平成元年 京都高島屋にて個展
- 以後 三越・高島屋各地の百貨店にて個展
茶陶を専らとして現在に至る
This is a tea bowl by Rishou Katoh, painted with shibagakigiku.
It is a beautiful work in which the chrysanthemum flowers framed in gold stand out vividly against the black glaze.

1946 Born in Kyoto
1985 Awarded the Kyoto Traditional Art Merit Prize.
1989 Solo exhibition at Takashimaya Department Store, Kyoto.
Since then, solo exhibitions at department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya.
Currently specialises in tea ceramics.
