大正から昭和にかけて活躍した木版画家・川瀬巴水（1883～1957〔明治16～昭和32〕年）

明治以降に浮世絵などが衰退し、復興させるため新時代の木版画「新版画」を推進したのが版元の渡邊庄三郎（現・渡邊木版美術画舗初代）や彫師、摺師といった職人たちです。

川瀬巴水は、新版画の絵師を代表する一人で、多くの版元と提携して作品を世に出しました。

巴水は日本の原風景を求めて全国を旅し、庶民の生活が息づく四季折々の風景を描きました。

この作品も、越後の雪景色と風情ある町並みを描いています。

版画は、状態も良いです。

Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), a woodblock print artist active from the Taisho to Showa periods.

After the Meiji period (1868-1912), ukiyoe and other woodblock prints declined, and to revive the art, “shin-hanga,” a new generation of woodblock prints, was promoted by the publisher Shozaburo Watanabe (now the founder of Watanabe Mokuhanga), engravers, printers, and other craftspeople.

Kawase Hasui was one of the leading shin-hanga artists and collaborated with many publishers to bring his works to the world.

Hasuii traveled throughout Japan in search of original Japanese landscapes, depicting seasonal landscapes where the lives of ordinary people were still alive.

This work also depicts the snowy landscape and picturesque townscape of Echigo.

今回ご紹介の品物は、わたせせいぞうのシルクスクリーン版画です。

グラフィックデザイン風のレイアウトで、爽やかな色合いのイラストは、誰でも一度は目にしたことがあるかと思います。

1980年代に大ヒットした、漫画『ハートカクテル』は、最近でもリバイバルされ、アニメで放映されたようです。

こちらの作品タイトルは『ハートディスタンス』で、限定300部となっており、作品の下には、3/300と直筆サインが入っています。

わたせの作風である「純愛」を描いており、登場する男女は真剣に愛を追究する誠実な人々ばかりであり、癒し系の元祖と言われています。

遠く離れた夜空の星の距離と男女の心の距離を対比しているような、ロマンティックな印象で、シティーポップの曲が聴こえてきそうな作品です。

The item introduced here is a silkscreen print by Watase Seizo.

The graphic design style layout and fresh colors of the illustrations have probably been seen by everyone at least once.

The manga “Heart Cocktail” was a big hit in the 1980s, and has recently been revived and aired as an animated cartoon.

The title of this piece is “Heart Distance,” and it is limited to 300 copies, with 3/300 and his signature at the bottom of the piece.

The work depicts “pure love,” Watase’s style, and the men and women who appear in the work are all sincere people earnestly pursuing love,

and are said to be the originators of the healing style.

The work has a romantic impression, as if contrasting the distance between the stars in the distant night sky and the distance between the hearts of men and women,

and it sounds like a city pop song.

今回ご紹介の品物は、松本秋佳の『暉』と言う題名の日本画です。

『暉』とは、キと読み、ひかり、かがやきと言う意味があります。畦道の水路が、輝いて見えるところからこの題名が付けられたのでしょうか？

空は僅かにピンク色に染まっています。夕暮れに差し掛かる頃と思われ、寂し気な情景が美しく、岩絵の具で繊細に描かれています。

松本秋佳は、1951年宮崎県に生まれました。名古屋美術学校日本画科を卒業した後、横山大観や平山 郁夫が所属する、日本美術院展で入選を繰り返し、日本美術院の

院友となりました。現在、名古屋に在住、自然をモチーフに日本画を描いています。

The item introduced here is a Japanese-style painting titled “Ki” by Akiyoshi Matsumoto.

The word “暉” is read as “ki”, which means light or brightness. The title may have been given to this painting because the waterway between the rice paddies looks shining.

The sky is slightly tinted pink. The sky is slightly tinted pink. It seems to be approaching dusk, and the lonely scene is beautifully and delicately painted with mineral pigments.

Akiyoshi Matsumoto was born in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1951.

After graduating from the Japanese Painting Department of Nagoya Art School, he was repeatedly selected for the Japan Art Institute Exhibition, to which Taikan

Yokoyama and Ikuo Hirayama belonged.

He is currently living in Nagoya. Currently residing in Nagoya, Matsumoto paints Japanese-style paintings with nature motifs.

こちらの作品は、神戸文子の油絵画です。

オレンジ色の百合は、太目の筆で勢いよく描かれているように見えます。38×30.5㎝（額縁の大きさ）と小さめの作品ですが、赤い背景と白い花瓶のコントラストが強

く、一見、粗雑に描かれているような花びらのフォルムは、作者の内面を表しているようで、圧倒されます。

神戸文子は、1926年に東京都で生まれ、1947年に、女子美術大学を卒業しました。

1950年、第六回日展入選し、同年、光風会展においても初入選。1977年、スペイン旅行国をきっかけに、内外の油彩風景画を展開しました。

以後、アルジェリアやチュニジアをはじめ、北アフリカの地域を中心に取材旅行を重ね、アフリカの人々の暮らしを主題に、青色を基調とした作品を多く制作しまし

た。日展、女流画家協会展への出品を中心に、グループ展にも多数参加。2009年、83歳、死去。

This work is an oil painting by Fumiko Kanbe.

The orange lilies appear to have been painted vigorously with a thick brush. 38 x 30.5 cm (the size of the frame), it is a small work, but the contrast between the red background and the white vase is strong.

The seemingly crudely drawn forms of the petals are overwhelmingly expressive of the artist’s inner self.

Fumiko Kanbe was born in Tokyo in 1926 and graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 1947.

In 1950, she was selected for the 6th Nitten Exhibition, and in the same year, she was also selected for the Koufukai Exhibition for the first time.

]1977, she traveled to Spain, where she began painting oil landscapes in and outside of Japan.

She made many trips to Algeria, Tunisia, and other parts of North Africa, and produced many works with blue as the base color, depicting the lives of African people.

She has been exhibited at the Nitten Exhibition and the Japan Women’s Painters Association.

She participated in the Nitten Exhibition and the Japan Association of Women Painters, and also participated in many group exhibitions.Died in 2009, age 83.

Fumiko Kanbe’s oil painting is now on sale at Jikoh store.
