今回　ご紹介する品物は、三代　大樋長阿弥の飴釉の茶碗です。大樋焼は、江戸時代加賀藩の御用達の焼きものでありましたが、明治時代、廃藩に伴い大樋焼が衰退しましたが、その後、職人達の手によって復興に努め、、息を吹き返しました。その中のひとつ大樋長阿弥は、大正１４年に創設された窯元と言えるでしょう。こちらの茶碗は、大樋焼の飴釉の特徴を押さえ、肌感、景色も申し分ない品物となっております。

The item introduced here is a candy glazed tea bowl by Ohi Choami III. Ohi ware was the official pottery of the Kaga domain during the Edo period (1603-1868), but it declined during the Meiji period (1868-1912) when the domain was abolished. One of these kilns, Ohi Choami, was founded in 1925. This tea bowl has the characteristics of Ohi-yaki’s candy glaze, and the texture and scenery are perfect.

This is a tea bowl by Rishou Katoh, painted with shibagakigiku.

It is a beautiful work in which the chrysanthemum flowers framed in gold stand out vividly against the black glaze.

今回ご紹介の品物は、民芸の素朴さと実用性を兼ね備えた、濱田庄司の湯呑です。

1955年、『民芸陶器』にて人間国宝 『文化勲章』受章した濱田庄司（1894～1978）は、３６歳に栃木県益子町に移り住み、作陶を開始しました。

手 轆轤 のみを使用するシンプルな造形、釉薬の流描による大胆な模様を得意とし、 益子焼の代表的な作家となりました。

柳宗悦の同志として民芸運動の興隆にあたり、1961年、日本民藝館の第2代館長に就任、1977年には、自ら蒐集した 民芸品を展示する益子参考館を開館しています。

こちらの濱田庄司の湯呑は、只今、慈光店頭にて販売しております。

The item introduced here is a teacup by Shoji Hamada, which combines the simplicity and practicality of folk art.

Shoji Hamada (1894-1978), who was awarded the Living National Treasure “Order of Culture” in 1955 for his folk art ceramics,

moved to the town of Mashiko in Tochigi Prefecture at the age of 36 and began making pottery.

He specialised in simple forms using only a hand wheel and bold patterns with flowing glazes, and became a representative artist of Mashiko ware.

As a comrade of Yanagi Muneyoshi, he was instrumental in the rise of the folk art movement, becoming the second director of the Japan Folk Art Museum in 1961

and opening the Mashiko Reference Centre in 1977, which exhibits his own collection of folk art.

This teacup by Shoji Hamada is now available in the Jikoh shop.

慈光では、骨董品、美術品のお買い取り、販売を行っております。

現在、圓鍔勝三（1905-2003）のブロンズ像『女神像』を販売しております。圓鍔勝三は広島生まれました。学校卒業語は。京都の彫刻師である石割秀光に弟子入りしました。その後、関西美術院で彫刻を学びます。さらに芸術性を高めるため、日本美術学校の彫刻科に入学。在学中に帝展にて入選、卒業後は、澤田政廣に師事。更に高みを目指し、母が娘に紅を差す何気ない日常の一瞬を描写した作品が文展で特選を獲得しまし、若いころから才能を発揮しました。

戦後、更に高い評価を受け、たくさんの賞を受賞しました。そして多摩美術学校の教授、日展の理事や、日本彫刻家委員長を務めるなど、日本の彫刻美術に尽力しました。紺綬褒章や、勲三等瑞宝章なども受賞しております。

圓鍔勝三は、様々な表現方法を持ち、古典的な彫塑の要素を離れデフォルメを強調した作品や、彩色を施した彫刻、石や金属、ステンレスなど複数の素材を組み合わせた作品を発表しました。自らが見た夢を題材に選ぶなど抽象的な表現にも果敢に挑戦しました。、常に新たな表現を模索し、晩年まで作家活動を行い、生涯創作意欲が枯れることはなかった彫刻家です。

こちらの女性像は、勇往邁進な表情をしており、陰影が綺麗に出ています。ブロンズ本体の大きさは高さ約14cm今のと小さいサイズですが、今の時代にはない、奥行のある存在感があります。

We are currently selling the bronze statue “Statue of Goddess” by Katsuzo Entsuba (1905-2003). Katsuzo Entsuba was born in Hiroshima. He graduated from school. After graduating from school, he became an apprentice to the sculptor Hidemitsu Ishiwari in Kyoto. He then studied sculpture at the Kansai Bijutsuin (Kansai Art Institute). To further his artistic development, he entered the sculpture department of the Japan Art School. While in school, he was selected for the Teiten exhibition. After graduation, he studied under Masahiro Sawada. Aiming for a higher level, he won a special prize at the Bunten Exhibition for a work depicting an ordinary moment in daily life when a mother gives her daughter red, demonstrating his talent from a young age.

After the war, he received even higher acclaim and many awards. He also devoted himself to the art of sculpture in Japan, serving as a professor at Tama Art School, a board member of the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition), and the chairman of the Japan Sculptors Committee. He also received the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon and the Order of the Sacred Treasure, 3rd class.
