略歴

1945年　長野県小布施に生まれる。
1969年　東京芸術大学日本画科卒業。
1985年　東京セントラル美術館、裸婦大賞展大賞受賞。
1990年　横浜三溪園臨春閣の襖絵「不二と桃花図」「松林図」を完成。日本美術院特待となる。
1991年　第46回春の院展奨励賞受賞。第76回院展奨励賞受賞。
1992年　長野県に「おぶせミュージアム・中島千波館」開館。
1994年　鎌倉の鶴が岡八幡宮、斎官貴賓室床の間壁画完成披露。伊藤彬、中野嘉之、林功らと「日和麗麗孔雀の図」グループ「目」を結成。
1997年　「中島千波の花宴展」を京都、東京で開催。
1998年　「花と富士　中島千波屏風絵展」を東京で開催。

ハンガリー生まれのフィレンツェ・ホルダスは、医学大学へ進学と同時に画家としてデビューしました。

こちらの作品は、黒い帽子を被った少女の絵で、少女の肌は陶器のような美しさを表現しているのでしょうか、フラットな表面で光沢のある質感の絵です。

お花とお城の絵は、スクラッチのような技法で小さく描かれ、画面の中に遠近感をもたらしています。

縦約７８㎝×横約６７㎝のアンティーク調の額に入っており、玄関やリビングに飾ると優しい雰囲気が演出できそうです。

～フィレンツェ・ホルダス経歴～

1911年、ハンガリー生まれ。

1940年 画集（グーテンベルク出版）を出版。

1965年 フィレンツェ・アカデミー名誉会員に推挙

1971年 日本に紹介され注目される。その他 ハンガリー国内、ヨーロッパ各地の展覧会で受賞多数

刀緒とは軍刀の柄頭に提げられた紐のことです。

元々は戦闘の際、手首を通し脱落防止用の紐として使われていました。

実際には、刀緒の色や素材、形状の違いによって、階級や所属などを示す飾りの要素が大きかったようです。

また、金モールで作られた正装、礼装時に用いられる正刀緒で儀礼刀などに付けれられる物もあります。

陸軍軍刀の場合は、絹糸平織状の茶色を基調とした紐で、階級により裏地が紺青色は尉官・准士官。緋色は佐官。緋色に金糸模様入りは将官。

さらに将官は房が金色で、一目で階級が分かるようになっています。

こちらの帝国陸軍佐官の正刀緒など数点をヤフオクにて出品予定です。どうぞお楽しみに。

A sword cord is a strap attached to the hilt of a military sword.

Originally, it was used as a cord to pass around the wrist during battle to prevent it from falling off.

In practice, the sword cord seems to have had a large decorative element to indicate rank and affiliation, depending on its colour, material and shape.

There are also ceremonial sword cords made of gold braid used for formal and ceremonial dress, which are attached to ceremonial swords.

For army swords, the strings were made of plain-weave silk and were brown in colour, with a dark blue lining for lieutenants and adjutants, and a scarlet lining for sergeants. Scarlet is for sergeants. Scarlet with a gold thread pattern is for generals.

Furthermore, generals have a golden tassel, which identifies their rank at a glance.

今回、竹久夢二の挿絵を買い取りさせて頂きました。

こちらは1922年（大正11年）に創刊された令女会という雑誌に掲載されました。令女会は、身の上相談や美容相談などに力をいれ、女学校高学年から20歳前後の未婚女性を主な読者としていました。生活と結びついた美術を目指した夢二は、商業美術（のちに言われるグラフィック・デザイン）の概念を描いており、児童雑誌や詩文の挿絵なども多く手がけました。『夢よ浅かれ』と題名の付いたこちらの挿絵は、赤いちりめんでまとめたカンザシを挿した少女は本を読みながら物思いに耽るようで、夢二が得意とする表情が描かれています。

This time, we bought an illustration by Takehisa Yumeji.

These illustrations were published in a magazine called Reijo-kai, which was first published in 1922. The magazine focused on personal and beauty advice, and its main readers were unmarried women from the upper grades of girls’ school to around 20 years of age. Aiming for art that was connected to daily life, Yumeji drew on the concept of commercial art (later called graphic design) and also did many illustrations for children’s magazines and poetry. In this illustration titled ‘Yume yo Asakare’, a young girl with a kanzashi (a Japanese doll with a red crape wrapper) seems lost in thought while reading a book, a look that was Yumeji’s speciality.
