今回ご紹介の品物は、木村光良の作品です。

益子焼作家として有名な木村一郎の孫であり、益子窯の三代目です。

こちらの辰砂草文扇壺は、銅を着色剤として含む赤い釉薬・辰砂釉（しんしゃゆう）を使用しています。

草を抽象化した赤い文様が特徴的で、所々、白い釉薬が入っており、重厚感の中にも動的な景色を作り出しています。

～木村光良　略歴～

1970年（昭和45年）木村一郎、木村充と続く益子窯に生まれる。

1993年（平成5年）父、木村充の元で作陶に入る。

1998年（平成11年）父の死後、独立。松戸伊勢丹にて「益子窯四人展」開催、

1999年（平成11年）宇都宮市上野百貨店にて、木村一郎、木村充の作品群に自作を加えての「益子窯三代展」を開催

2000年（平成12年）松戸伊勢丹にて、陶染色二人展、宇都宮上野百貨店にて家族展開催

The item presented here is a work by Mitsuyoshi Kimura.

He is the grandson of Ichiro Kimura, a well-known Mashiko pottery artist and the third generation of the Mashiko kiln.

Shinshasoubunsentsubo , a red glaze containing copper as a colouring agent.

It is characterised by a red pattern abstracted from grasses, with white glaze in places, creating a heavy yet dynamic landscape.

～Mitsuyoshi Kimura Biography～

Born in 1970 in Mashiko, the home of Ichiro Kimura and Mitsuru Kimura.

Began working with his father, Mitsuru Kimura, in 1993.

Became independent after the death of his father in 1998. Held the ‘Mashiko Kiln Four-person Exhibition’ at Isetan, Matsudo,

1999 (Heisei 11) Held the ‘Mashiko Kiln Three Generations Exhibition’ at the Ueno Department Store in Utsunomiya City, adding his own works to those of Ichiro Kimura and Mitsuru Kimura.

In 2000, held a two-person ceramic dyeing exhibition at Isetan, Matsudo, and a family exhibition at Utsunomiya Ueno Department Store.

今回、竹久夢二の挿絵を買い取りさせて頂きました。

こちらは1922年（大正11年）に創刊された令女会という雑誌に掲載されました。令女会は、身の上相談や美容相談などに力をいれ、女学校高学年から20歳前後の未婚女性を主な読者としていました。生活と結びついた美術を目指した夢二は、商業美術（のちに言われるグラフィック・デザイン）の概念を描いており、児童雑誌や詩文の挿絵なども多く手がけました。『夢よ浅かれ』と題名の付いたこちらの挿絵は、赤いちりめんでまとめたカンザシを挿した少女は本を読みながら物思いに耽るようで、夢二が得意とする表情が描かれています。

This time, we bought an illustration by Takehisa Yumeji.

These illustrations were published in a magazine called Reijo-kai, which was first published in 1922. The magazine focused on personal and beauty advice, and its main readers were unmarried women from the upper grades of girls’ school to around 20 years of age. Aiming for art that was connected to daily life, Yumeji drew on the concept of commercial art (later called graphic design) and also did many illustrations for children’s magazines and poetry. In this illustration titled ‘Yume yo Asakare’, a young girl with a kanzashi (a Japanese doll with a red crape wrapper) seems lost in thought while reading a book, a look that was Yumeji’s speciality.

古川利男は、昭和２４年生まれの、京都 清水焼の陶芸家です。利宋窯で製作し、プラチナ箔を施す「釉裏白金彩」という技法を、考案し息子の古川拓郎氏が完成させた技法などで知られています。孫にあたる古川剛は、古典的な油滴天目や禾目天目をベースにオリジナルの天目作品を制作し注目されています。

こちらのぐい呑は、氷裂青瓷の造りで氷の様に模様があり、澄んだ青は非常に見応えがあります。平形で非常にきれいな形成をしております。

大正から昭和にかけて活躍した木版画家・川瀬巴水（1883～1957〔明治16～昭和32〕年）

明治以降に浮世絵などが衰退し、復興させるため新時代の木版画「新版画」を推進したのが版元の渡邊庄三郎（現・渡邊木版美術画舗初代）や彫師、摺師といった職人たちです。

川瀬巴水は、新版画の絵師を代表する一人で、多くの版元と提携して作品を世に出しました。

巴水は日本の原風景を求めて全国を旅し、庶民の生活が息づく四季折々の風景を描きました。

この作品も、越後の雪景色と風情ある町並みを描いています。

版画は、状態も良いです。

Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), a woodblock print artist active from the Taisho to Showa periods.

After the Meiji period (1868-1912), ukiyoe and other woodblock prints declined, and to revive the art, “shin-hanga,” a new generation of woodblock prints, was promoted by the publisher Shozaburo Watanabe (now the founder of Watanabe Mokuhanga), engravers, printers, and other craftspeople.

Kawase Hasui was one of the leading shin-hanga artists and collaborated with many publishers to bring his works to the world.

Hasuii traveled throughout Japan in search of original Japanese landscapes, depicting seasonal landscapes where the lives of ordinary people were still alive.

This work also depicts the snowy landscape and picturesque townscape of Echigo.
