加藤清三　志野　ぐい呑　酒器　共箱　y-342

加藤清三（かとう せいぞう、昭和5年〈1930年〉～昭和54年〈1979年〉）は、美濃陶祖十三代を継承した著名な陶芸家です。養父である十二代陶祖加藤景秋の後を継ぎ、昭和47年（1972年）に十三代目となりました。

彼の作品は、志野焼を中心に、瀬戸黒など美濃焼の伝統的な技法を用いたものが多く、その中でもぐい呑や茶碗などが知られています。

また、岐阜県美術館には、彼の作品である「志野耳付花入」が所蔵されており、その高い技術と美的感覚が伺えます。

今回ご紹介する品物は、村田百川（むらたひゃくせん）の香合です。村田百川は、金沢の蒔絵師です。１９４４年に富山県南砺市に生まれ、伝統工芸に惹かれ会社員を辞め漆芸を学ぶ。１９７０年に村田家に入り、本格的に漆芸に取り組みます。１９７５年に、腕を認められ裏千家　井口海仙宗匠様より百川の号の命名を受けます。以後様々な展示会で受賞し評価を得ます。「花、木、庭、茶事、すべてが学びの源泉」ということで、常に学び続ける姿勢が、高いクオリティーで品格のある作品を生み出しております。いずれも卓越した蒔絵は、超絶技巧で仕上げられており、万年筆に絵付けされた蒔絵も非常に人気があります。

こちらの香合は、高蒔絵で絵付けされており立体感があります。葉や茎、実の部分は細部にいたるまで非常に素晴らしい造りになっております。

The item we would like to introduce this time is an incense holder by Murata Hyakusen. Hyakusen Murata  is a lacquer artist from Kanazawa. Born in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture in 1944, he was attracted to traditional crafts and quit his job to study lacquer art. In 1970, he joined the Murata family and began to work on lacquer art in earnest. In 1975, he was recognized for his skills and was given the name Hyakusen by Urasenke master Iguchi Kaisen. Since then, he has won awards and been highly praised at various exhibitions. His attitude of always continuing to learn, as he believes that “flowers, trees, gardens, and tea ceremonies are all sources of learning,” has led to the creation of high-quality, elegant works. All of his outstanding lacquer art is finished with superb technique, and his lacquer art painted on fountain pens is also very popular.

This incense holder is painted with high-quality lacquer art, giving it a three-dimensional feel. The leaves, stems and fruit are beautifully crafted with great attention to detail.

長野県北安曇郡美麻村（現：大町市）出身の版画家・宮田三郎（1924－2013）。

日本の美しい自然や風土を愛した宮田は、繊細な描写と情緒豊かな色彩を独自の視点でとらえ表現しました。宮田の作品は、伝統的な木版画技法を用いながらも、モダンな感覚が感じられ、時代を超えた普遍的な美しさを持っています。

慈光ヤフーショッピング　島岡達三　地釉象嵌象嵌六角鉢 共箱

ご紹介する品物は、人間国宝の島岡達三の象嵌灰皿です。

島岡達三は1919年、東京都港区愛宕出身です。父は組紐師。

その後日本民藝館で 河井寛次郎や濱田庄司の作品に出会い民芸の陶芸家への道を決意しました。その後東京工業大学窯業学科に入学しました。その翌年，益子に行き濱田を訪ね，卒業後の入門を願い許されましたが、太平洋戦争となりビルマへ出征したことにより入門は先延ばしになりました。生還し、1946年に念願の濱田に師事することとなりました。

その後、益子に住居と窯を構え、独自の技法や、個性的な作品を作り上げました。縄文時代に強い関心があり、益子の土と釉薬を用いて縄文象嵌技法を生み出しました。組紐で後付されたこの技法により作られた作品は島岡達三の代表作でもあり、重要無形文化財にもなっております。

こちらの六角鉢は、非常に趣があり、島岡達三の技法や、特徴が盛り込まれております。また形の均衡が非常に良く見る人の印象に、安心感を与えます。どの角度からみても良い景色が楽しめるでしょう。

Tatsuzo Shimaoka was born in Atago, Minato-ku, Tokyo in 1919. His father was a braided cord maker.

Later, at the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, he encountered the works of Kawai Kanjiro and Hamada Shoji, and decided to become a folk art potter. He then entered the Ceramics Department of the Tokyo Institute of Technology. The following year, he went to Mashiko to visit Hamada, and was allowed to enter the school after graduation, but the Pacific War broke out and he was sent to Burma, so his studies were postponed. He returned to Mashiko, and in 1946, he began to study under Hamada, which was his long-cherished dream.

Thereafter, he established a residence and kiln in Mashiko, where he developed his own techniques and unique style of work. He has a strong interest in the Jomon period and created the Jomon inlaying technique using Mashiko clay and glazes. The works made with this technique, which is retrofitted with braided cords, are also representative works of Tatsuzo Shimaoka and have been designated as Important Intangible Cultural Properties.

This hexagonal bowl is very atmospheric and incorporates Tatsuzo Shimaoka’s techniques and characteristics. The balance of the shape is very good, giving the viewer a sense of security. The view can be enjoyed from any angle.

今回ご紹介する品物はフランツ・イフランドのブロンズ像です。フランツ・イフランド（1862-1935）は、現ドイツ、プロセイン王国の、ベルリン生まれの彫刻家です。アールヌーボと同じ意の、１９世紀末２０世紀初頭のユーゲントシュティール美術に影響を受けました。キャリアの後半では、アールデコ様式の作品も制作しました。まさに芸術の最盛期で、彫刻の黄金期の作家のひとりです。動き、表情が豊かなのある作品が多く、伸びやかで優雅な特徴があります。
